This is a brief, Sonny-only teaser with no JVL or Vic: he pops in solo to announce that Friday's episode will cover Wrath of Man, the Guy Ritchie/Jason Statham action film he calls one of his favorite movies of last year, currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video in a surprisingly good-looking 4K transfer (a nice change, he jokes, from the oil-slick "rainbow film" murkiness he suffered through watching the Prime Jack Reacher series). He previews that they'll dig into how this Guy Ritchie picture differs from his usual output, and dangles the possibility — without promising, since he says he gets in trouble for overpromising — of a bonus Guy Ritchie draft episode dropping Monday. No verdicts or grades are given here since it's just a heads-up for the real review to come.

Sonny00:00:00Hey, everybody. It's Sonny. New episode coming Friday. We got Wrath of Man. We're talking about Wrath of Man. It's on Amazon Prime right now. Prime Video, you can watch it in 4K, glorious, glorious 4K. It actually looks really good. A lot of the times, I'm going to talk about this a little bit on the show, but a lot of the times, the stuff on Prime Video does not look good. I don't know if you guys watched all of the Jack Reacher show, but I did, and it was kind of infuriating to watch. It was like there was this film over it. Like, you know how an oil slick has like a rainbow kind of film on it? That's what that whole show looked like to me. So, I don't know what's going on with their video codex, but this movie looks good. We're also going to try, I can't, I don't want to make any promises here. I don't want to make any promises. We're going to try and do a bonus episode of Guy Ritchie, Guy Ritchie Draft. We're going to do a bonus Guy Ritchie Draft, I think. We'll see. I don't want, again, you know. I get in trouble when I make too many promises. But anyway, new episode coming on Friday. I hope everybody watches it beforehand. It was one of my favorite movies of last year. It is very good. Jason Statham, Guy Ritchie. It's a very different sort of Guy Ritchie movie. We'll talk about that, the ways in which it is different. So, come back on Friday. We'll have a new episode for you and we'll have a good time. We'll all have a good time. Maybe we'll have more good times on Monday. I don't know. We'll see. We'll see.
